If you are involved in even a minor accident, you will find that it can be a stressful experience. David May Motor Services offer to reduce the emotional trauma of the repair process after the accident. Our friendly and professional service is specifically designed to have you back out on the road as soon as possible. 

Part of our commitment to our customers is that we are an ISO9002 Quality Approved Garage as well as being an approved repairer for Dupont 5star, Lex Vehicle Leasing and the AA accident management to name a few. We value all of our customers, old and new, so our aim is always to help you throughout the entire repair process. We also strive to cause as little disruption to you as possible, both in having the work carried out by when we say it will and providing you one of our courtesy cars. We achieve this by our dedicated team of fully qualified and well motivated staff who have stayed with us for quite a number of years and have amassed a vast amount of experience.

The Repair Process

Collection 
We aim to offer the most convenient service to our customers that we can. We will contact you directly and arrange for a time that is suitable for you, for one of our staff to come and collect your vehicle, dropping off one of our courtesy cars if required.

Estimating
We will make sure that your vehicle is thoroughly examined by our experienced estimator. This allows us to provide you with a clear and accurate estimate. This will be produced in writing for either your personal approval, or your insurance company.

Panel work
All damaged body panels will be repaired or replaced as required. Be it damaged by a dent, rust or impact, we will explain the possible remedies and their costs before we start work.

Painting
All vehicles requiring painting will be skillfully and thoroughly prepared by our expert. They will be primed and repainted using environmentally friendly water based paint systems, we also use Dupont Cromax and Nexa Autocolour. We use our own low bake ovens to be sure a outstanding quality of finish and high levels of durability, meaning less scratches. 

Assembly
Once the work is completed, your vehicle will be correctly and carefully reassembled to its original form. We will ensure that it is in its best possible condition and if needed we will check the alignment of all four wheels.

Valet
Before it is returned to you, your car will be professionally cleaned. Our valetters will thoroughly clean it, both inside and out, so that it is returned to you in pristine condition.

Quality Control
Your vehicle will go through one final set of rigorous quality control checks. Then it will then be delivered to you. You are then assured that your car or van is properly repaired, safe and clean.
